A little late posting this one up. Finished it up about a week ago. He has a really nice metallic gold finish on him that shines beautifully over the brown skin. did all the blending and fading by hand this time around, was challenging but very fun and rewarding. for a private collection. the client wanted one to go with a previous 8″ Dunny I did titled “Greed and Solace” so i kept the purple tentacles and dirtied it up a bit. hope you enjoy. more pictures on my flickr page.

This commission was for a fellow Big Sal fan. I was so stoked to work on another one…best figure ever. He wanted a homage to the 50′s B-Movie “Robot Monster”
I decided I didn’t want to ruin the flow of the figure so I did a more loose interpretation and left arm and foot features off. The helmet components and tentacles are HIGH gloss, I left the fur and skull matte.
Finished this commission up for a guy and his gal. I think it’s his anniversary gift to her, what an honor it was making this for them. My soon to be wife Holly sewed some black silk pillows for inside the hand painted wooden boxes. Remember, im always open for commissions so if you’d like one of that special someone or the whole family get at me!
